Aleene's Stop Fraying

Keep fabrics and trims from becoming a frazzled mess with Aleene's Stop Fraying. Seal braided accessories, area rug tatters, abused throw pillow piping, wild backpack strap ends, cord, ribbon and trim ends, affix or reaffix embellishments! Aleene's nontoxic formula dries clear, remains flexible and will even last through repeated gentle washings.

Directions:
Always test in a small, inconspicuous area first! Do not dry clean.

1. Apply a thin coat onto frayed edges.
2. While glue is wet, remove excess glue with a damp cloth.
3. Let dry 24 hours to fully cure.
4. Wait 7-10 days before washing.

Dry time will depend on how much glue was used and the temperature and humidity level in your area. A general dry time estimate for this glue is 34-42 minutes based on testing with a 3-millimeter coating at 70-73 degrees Fahrenheit. Thicker applications will dry at a slower rate.
